Participate in complete software lifecycle of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and problem resolution. Interface with customer personnel and provide technical expertise as required. Provide technical solutions and field call resolution. Assist in project planning. Interact with multiple functional areas including Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Software Configuration Management. Approximately 5% to 10% evening shift work.* ** * Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering. Competent in C/C++ and Windows. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills in the area of software debugging. Should have a strong understanding of software engineering practices and principles. Pascal, PLM and/or embedded software knowledge is a plus. Should have a fundamental knowledge and understanding of LAN and database technologies. Must have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Customer interfacing skills are very important.
