Job Details: Looking for someone who has 3-5 years’ experience in functional QA. Needs to have strong SQL skills – i.e. should be able to write moderately complex SQL queries. Experience in writing/documenting test cases and test scenarios. Needs to be able to work independently. Write test plans and test cases with minimal supervision Execute test plans and test cases with minimal supervision Estimate QA work involved for each SCR with minimal supervision Identify test data necessary for testing and create test data as necessary with minimal supervision Write SQL queries or scripts necessary for testing product Document defects found during testing process Participate in defect reviews and provide necessary information for determining priority and for identifying a fix. Re-verify defects after the fix Identify and escalate quality risks Assist QA lead in developing overall QA plan Supervise junior QA team members as and when necessary Coach and mentor junior team members Demonstrated and consistent experience in Quality Assurance activities for software products Up to date knowledge of software testing principals and methodologies Basic understanding of coding and ability to write simple code, queries and tools Generally 3+ years of experience as QA analyst Bachelor level degree or equivalent work experience The Company is fully committed to providing equal employment opportunity in recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, promotions, transfers, education and all other terms of employment.
