BASIC FUNCTION The Implementation Consultant is a Business Systems Analyst that works closely with client business and technical teams, as well as WKFS Professional Services project teams to deliver software systems and professional services at client engagements in the financial services industry. Consults with clients to understand and document client business and technical requirements. Identifies alternative solutions that address client requirements. Contributes to the analysis, design, development, and testing of client engagement deliverables. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: § BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent related experience. Experience: § 3+ years as a business systems analyst in software development and/or related experience. § Professional services experience (Consulting) strongly preferred. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: (First list requirements, followed by preferences.) § Demonstrates ambition, self motivation, action-oriented. § Strong analytical, trouble shooting and team-based problem solving skills. § Understanding of software development using multiple life-cycle methods. § Working knowledge of project management methodology and best practices. § Large-system integration project experience. § Banking background strongly preferred. § Relational Database Knowledge (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) preferred. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel will be required to customer locations within the United States. Travel requirements may be up to 50% during key portions of the project.
