*Position :- Network Engineer Location :- New York City, NY* *Duration :- 6+ months* Required Skills while working on Designs • Design Consideration awareness: In-depth understanding about Capacity Planning, Oversubscription consideration, Bandwidth Utilization Analysis, Traffic Flow consideration, Removing SPOF (Single Point Of Failure in network by providing redundancy), Collapsing network layers incase required for cost effective solution, license consideration during design, Minimum Dram/Flash Memory Requirement for appropriate License. • Knowledge on Various Sup engines, Sup redundancy types & its configuration, Various Line cards (100G, 10G & 1G). • Awareness on hardware platforms used such as 3750X, 3560X, 4500X, 6500, 4500-E series, Nexus Switches (NXOS & VDC, VPC, OTV, etc concepts), ASR 1000, 7200,3800, New ISR G2 Series Routers. • POE concept and POE capable switches. Required skills on Protocol Level: LAN & WAN Technologies, Switching Technology: VLANS, VTP, ISL, 801.Q, Ether-Channel, STP, RSTP, PVST. Routing Protocols: Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP and PIM. Knowledge of QOS, NAT, IPSEC, Access Control Lists. Additional Knowledge required: Knowledge of Change Management Process and worked in Financial domain preferred.
