Additional Responsibilities You designed and optimized database schema, architecture, queries, and complex stored procedures, for OLTP, OLAP and unstructured (Hadoop) data services; You lead the design and implementation of Data Cube structures for Data Warehouse environments, specifically with MS SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS);You identified, resolved and proactively worked to prevent performance or other production impacting issues when developing new data objects; You developed and optimized queries, stored procedures, and reports scalability and efficiency; You consulted with internal business users on system design specifications to ensure that the end result of designing code and database models adequately supported business needs; You proactively specified and fostered T-SQL best practices; You developed and maintained reports and dashboards from the HAS software suite using various tools including SSRS and Telerik visualization controls; You lead the testing and modification of data systems and business reports based on user specifications and business needs; You protected operations by keeping information confidential and following HIPAA, HITECH and other standards for information security in health care environments; You performed DB support activities in partnership with internal and external service providers.
