*Location- Newton MA* *Contract o hire only (Only EAD/GC/US Citizens) NO H1 visas* *Must be willing to do face to face interview* *Must have excellent communication skills * *Senior Systems/Network Engineer* *Position Responsibilities**:* - Candidate will be responsible for racking, configuring, installing and troubleshooting OS and applications on server-class systems running Windows and RH Linux. - Candidate will be required to manage and maintain an Active Directory domain. - Candidate implements and makes recommendations for systems enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. - Responsible for installing, decommissioning, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Windows server operating systems and network connectivity. - Lead in identifying potential servers for migration, and migrating servers and their services to remote data centers. - Responsible for administering Linux, VmWare servers. - Responsible for analyzing and optimizing power and A/C systems in the data center. - Analyzing and resolving drops in server and network performance - Configure and maintain system monitoring solution (What's Up Gold Distributed). Take lead on employing and maintaining the monitoring system across sites. - Assist in backup planning and disaster recovery drills. - Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
