*Job Title : Solution ArchitectLocation : Buffalo, NYDuration : 6+ Months* *Job description: * We have a need for a Solution Architect. Qualified candidates will participate in development efforts by performing detailed analysis, developing detailed designs and providing day-to-day technical guidance to development team. Other responsibilities include: • Facilitate a collaborative approach to problem solving and make well-reasoned decisions. • Demonstrate good analytical abilities and technical skills. • Must have an understanding of application design principles and application architecture. • Will be required to prepare detailed system and program specifications aligned with client standards. • May be required to manage technical aspects of small to medium sized projects. • May be required to lead data validation efforts by planning, designing and deploying effective test regimens. • Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate and resolve issues through careful testing. • The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management, is essential. • Candidates will be expected to ensure customer requests for information are addressed and follow up occurs resulting in superior customer satisfaction. *Required Skills: * • Prior experience / understanding of SOA • Experience working with SOA integration tools and services such as Java, along with web services technologies and tools (WSDL, SOAP, XML, MQ messaging, Enterprise Service Bus, HTML, Javascript, J2EE, JSP) . • Experience working with integration tools such as Informatica is preferred (including SQL, DB2, Oracle) • Experience working with enterprise scheduler (Tidal) is preferred. • Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as OS/400, AIX, or Windows. • Extensive knowledge of SQL, including cursors, stored procedures, and indexes. • Proficient with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and DB2. • Extensive experience with various development paradigms suce as procedural code, reporting writing tools and ETL tools Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
