If YES Please send me your resume along with your contact information, if NOT please feel free to pass on this email to your friends or Colleagues who might be interested Title: OBIEE DEVELOPER(ETL,OBIEE,OBIA SKILLS) Duration: 6 Months Location: Portland, OR The Sr. ETL Developer will participate in all phases of project implementation and continued support of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) for the enterprise. Demonstrated core competency using Informatica and DAC with proficiency having used it in an OBIEE / OBIA preferred. This role will interface directly with clients as well as IT staff in order to gather requirements to support the creation and maintenance of OBIEE artifacts. Candidate must have strong report and Informatica mapping development, Informatica workflow run capabilities and experience with OBIEE/Informatica design and implementation. Role Description • Design and develop complex Informatica ETL processes that integrate large data sets from multiple sources. • Monitor, troubleshoot, track and document day-to-day production issues. • Load data warehouse objects including dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables and aggregates into data warehouse environment. • Create the metadata layers including physical, semantic and presentation layers. • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL concepts, ETL loading strategy, Data archiving, Data reconciliation, ETL Error Handling, Error logging mechanism, standards and best practices. • Develop and maintain Informatica PowerCenter solutions Version 9.0 and 9.1. • Perform systems and data analysis to implement and optimize Informatica mappings and ETL workflows, data flows, shell scripts and stored procedure. • Work with customers and business analysts to understand and develop reporting and BI requirements. • Actively participate in design and analysis sessions to ensure sound team decision-making • Support system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution. • Mentor and train IT staff by sharing best practices and lessons learned from past implementation efforts • Very strong SQL and data analysis capabilities. Minimum Requirements • Minimum 7 years IT professional experience. • Minimum 4 years of experience developing, implementing and operationalizing enterprise-scale ETL architectures, using Informatica within an OBIEE / OBIA environment. • Minimum 6 years use of SQL and RDBMS systems experience (Oracle and SQL Server), with a focus on development andor data analysis. • Proven ability to gather and translate end user requirements into technical solutions. • Advanced knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts, with an emphasis in dimensional data modeling designs and techniques • Advanced knowledge of the system and data security mechanisms required for external presentation of client-segregated reports and analytics via the Internet • Advanced knowledge of DWBI project lifecycle, tools, technologies and best practices. • Proactively monitor and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before they become client impacting. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Other requirements • Informatica Certified Developer or Informatica Certified Administrator. • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain a plus. • Experience with OBIEE 11g a major plus. • Experience with OBIA (Procurement & Spend, Supply Chain & Order Management, Financials, Project Analytics, Enterprise Asset Management Analytics) a major plus. • Experience with WebLogic a plus. • Utility industry experience a plus.
