*C Programmer/Developer*. *Location: Chicago, IL.* *Duration: 6 Months.* *Start Date: ASAP.* · Understand design, business, and functional aspects of the business requirements and oversee implementation. · Monitor the work progress, closely work with offshore team to drive development efforts · Communicate and coordinate with both client and offshore. · Identify and manage risks, communicate and mitigate · Ensure that all project status reporting is accurate and timely at agreed frequency · Efficiently control the project making sure that the delivery timelines are met · Identify stakeholders and put together a communication plan to manage stakeholder expectations Accountable for the quality of the product delivered. Skill, Experience & General information Required: · Experienced in technically leading C projects · *Primary skills:* C, Unix · *Secondary* *skills*: Mainframe · *Tools*: ClearCase, ClearQuest · *Domain *: Credit Reporting · Sound conceptual understanding of C development / enhancement experience on enterprise applications · Knowledge of Unix and Mainframe · Knowledge of Credit Reporting domain · Experience of onsite offshore communication · Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders · Experienced in ensuring proper documentation · Experience of project scheduling and tracking · Excellent communication and presentation skills · Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure/multi-tasking · Strong sense of personal responsibility · Good team player.
