The right person for the job feels comfortable running workshop sessions with engineers and managers to mold requirements, then taking those requirements and formulating the right visuals (site maps, wireframes, flow diagrams, etc.) to ferret out all the little details so that engineers and graphic designers can successfully execute on a product that users will love. *Job Description:* - Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques and tools. - Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. Contributes to the design group's efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's online offerings. - Designs the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications. - Typically requires a college degree in fine arts or graphic design. - Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications *Summary: * - Client’s Viewpoint is a state of the art, Web 2.0 user centric portal that exposes the underlying their ecosystem to a wide range of users. - Built on top of modern standards such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX it is pushing the boundaries in what can be designed and built within a browser application. - As an interaction designer you will play a key role in designing and shaping the future web products and tools of *Client software group*. - Working in close collaboration with an existing team of world class Information Architects, Designers and Developers you will have responsibility for key areas of the product portfolio. *Ideally, Candidate must Have: * - *5+ years as an Information Architect, Interaction Designer, Interface Designer, or an equivalent * *- Mastery of wireframes, site maps, product flows * *- Mastery of workshop facilitation * *- Experience designing for highly technical products * - Excellent communication skills across disciplines - *Experience working in Agile (or at least fast-paced/iterative) environments * *- Experience with user-testing (primarily cognitive walkthroughs) * - Experience presenting and defending design decisions - A powerful overriding need to make things exactly as simple as they can be (and no more) - BA/BS in HCI or related field, or equivalent real-world experience --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
