Job Title: Senior Quality Consultant Location: Irvine, CA Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Responsibilities: Assist in planning, preparing and executing system and regression testing of application and systems software releases. Develop, execute and maintain test plans from requirement/design documentation for the product releases. Design, develop and maintain/enhance the QA automation software. Design, implementation and documentation of test cases and addition of these test cases to the automated test suites, administer and maintain defect training tool and conduct UAT sessions Track and report on test status. Defect prevention through early involvement with project teams. Identify and execute the manual test coverage. What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? Strong experience with TFS, QTP and load runner What skills/attributes are a must have? 8+ years experience MS SQL required. Must have 8+ years of solid QA experience. 5-7 years of data validation experience required. A minimum of 6 years of experience Windows client/server and web based applications required. Must have knowledge of business workflow modeling techniques and systems development lifecycle methodology. A Bachelor's in degree is required. Abilities/Skills - Strong experience with QA processes and methodologies required; automated and manual test processes, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test tools, regression testing. Stress, load and performance test tool(s) experience is highly desired Experience in implementing an automated test environment required. Development experience with C#.net, ASP.net preferred Well developed communication skills oral, written and listening. Good analytical, negotiation skills, and close attention to detail. Communicates clearly and effectively. Excellent time management and project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize. Must have excellent teamwork, interpersonal and motivational skills. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms are also required.
