Job Title: Senior GIS/C# Engineer Location: Boston, MA Duration: Fulltime Description: Responsibilities Successful people for the client come from many different backgrounds, with a wide range of perspectives and experiences. While meeting the position requirements is essential, we’re also interested your ability to communicate, collaborate and influence ideas within and outside of your immediate team. The key responsibilities on this team include: Member of our development team implementing a large middleware software framework and user interface controls Translate requirements into technical designs Develop next generation mapping components for multi-user based smart client applications Employ best development methodologies to address performance, scalability and efficiency issues with large data sets Design and develop static and dynamic data layers using ArcGIS (or equivalent tool) Work very closely with team members to integrate with minimum turnaround time Qualifications Must have at least 6+ years of GIS development with minimum of 4+ years using ESRI (or equivalent tools) based application development Minimum of 3+ years using .NET/C# with 1+ years using WPF or Silverlight technologies Must have experience resolving performance issues of mapping components built for multi-user based services Must have experience in building and integrating with Web services Experience with building/generating dynamic and static map layers Experience writing SQL stored procedures, schemas using MS SQL Server Experience working with SQL Server Spatial technologies Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skill Education and Training B.S. in CS or equivalent, M.S. preferred Thank you for your time and look forward to work with you. ______________________________________ Best Regards, David Johnson - Sr IT Recruiter MANIFEST Technology Email: da...@manifesttechnology.net This email message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
