*Position: Dev Ops Engineer* *Location: Fort Collins, CO* *Duration: 12+ months* *Job Description:* Must Haves: -Chef experience including writing their own cookbooks/recipes, updating and setting up Chef servers -Strong system administration experience with Linux -Experience writing Python programs -Bachelor’s degree -Able to work on site (no remote work) -Familiar with Agile methodologies in an SDLC environment including control systems (such as Git), ticketing systems (Bugzilla, JIRA) and managed workflows -UI skills Plusses: -Puppet experience -Django experience Day to Day: You will be creating an operational tools for the client's public cloud. On a day to day basis you’ll be using Chef to write your own cookbooks to deploy. You’ll also be setting up and updating Chef servers. Operation tooling creation will include backend in Python, Django front-end, and databases as needed. You will be working with Open Stack services on a day to day basis.
