*Title: Java Developer with E-commerce exp* *Location: Ann Arbour MI* *Accountabilities:* • Serve as the project lead by taking full ownership of technical deliverables for multiple projects. Understand the big picture & makes design decisions to align with it. • Responsibility of the overall technical deliverables in a sprint or iteration outcome. Report the status with alarms, explanations and solutions. The team includes a dedicated iteration manager • Partner with the business to deliver business driven projects & successfully influence the business, IT domain teams with requirements, technology use & design decisions • Act as a communication proxy for your team and will frequently be explaining technical decisions in business terms. Interface between development team and management in general • Raise the talent level within the team - through mentoring developers in Web based technologies & drive the team towards on target high quality deliverables • Establish your credibility through the quality of your work & through strong hand on front end coding expertise, remove the technical impediments for the team. • Roll out Web coding best practices in the first 6 months & participate in code reviews and provide timely feedback • Mentor team's developers on coding standards and best practices Technologies / Qualifications: • A minimum of 6+ years of experience • 2-3 years E-Commerce Java Development experience including broad understanding of eCommerce technology tools, providers and trends • Strong Experience in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS. • Strong understanding of UI and usability principles. • ATG experience is a plus • Experience in full life cycle Java solution implementation from conceptualization, requirements, design and specification through development (coding), QA/debugging, integration testing, deployment and follow-up support. • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills • Must possess a strong attention to detail, superior follow-up skills and be results oriented • Knowledge and understanding of retail industry a plus • Experience in business interactions, requirements analysis, and web development methodologies *Skill Matrix: * Advanced skills with the following frameworks and technologies a.
