Thus, a strong and active coding ability is required. The candidate must have an up to date knowledge of current and emerging technologies: WPF, WCF, Silverlight, SQL 2008, SSRS, MVC, ASP.NET, JQUERY and others on latest Microsoft platform. The candidate must possess effective communication skills as he/she is required to work directly with end users to identify problem and in turn provide resolution; and in case of new development, effectively capture the requirements and translate them into design specification and onward to implementation. It is very highly desirable if the candidate can demonstrate during the interview process on his/her own laptop of current/past project of any following technologies: WPF, Silverlight, SSRS, MVC or ASP.NET. Challenging environment includes .NET development running on Windows infrastructure and security models. Candidate must be knowledgeable in all Microsoft technologies. Candidate must have thorough knowledge in current methodology leaders such as Scum, Extreme Programming, United Software Development Process, CMMI etc Candidate must know about supporting tools including open source. Candidate must be an active developer and consultant. Having experiences in building SCADA related applications is highly desirable. Having experiences in Cygnet SCADA platform is highly desirable.
