*Duration : 6+ Month CTH* *Send Resumes at vina...@idctechnologies.com <vina...@idctechnologies.com>* Exp : 8+ Years • Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 architecture • Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 installations, having proven ability to configure, upgrade, and perform troubleshooting • Windows 2000/2003/2008 servers running as File, Print, Web and Database applications • Different Backup and Restore operations • Performance tuning on Query, Database and Server level • Security Models and Implementation on SQL Server • Good understanding to SharePoint • Ensures high availability, security and integrity of assigned databases. • Resolves database performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data issues. • Establishes regular backups of databases and transaction logs. • Creating/tuning/optimizing indexes, stored procedures, DTS/SSIS packages and SQL jobs • Emergency restore requests for production issues • Provide after-hours support for SQL Server alerting (ie. Resource crashes Severity 20, critical SQL job failures) • DEV and QA data refresh from production • Proactively review the SQL systems for defects or improvements • Provide At-the-Time investigations of performance issues (blocking, excessive resource consumption) • Can administrate Third Party SQL products (lightspeed, spotlight, etc) • 4+ years knowledge of MS SQL 2005/2008/2008R2 Database administration • Expert in database performance tuning. • Strong T-SQL Programming and debugging skills, • Data Transformation Services, • SQL Server Integration Services, • Mature analytic problem solving skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication, • Customer service attitude and focus, • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment, • Experience in task automation, • Work well with teams or in team environments, • Capable of implementing creative solutions, • Experience in all phases of SDLC and working within development teams including project planning, estimating, application architecture, programming and testing.
