Must have 6+ years of experience in Cognos admin 2. Very strong experience in T-SQL, SQL Store procdures, Data analysis 3. Advanced TSQL Skills 4. Experience with upgrading cognos or cognos 7 series suite Installation 5. Cognos Adminisitration - publishing report , Publishing cubes, upfront, understanding of macros & security 6. Impromptu administrator - for maintaining a catalog to writing a report 7. Transformer - from creating a source for the cube to crearing cube and publishing 8. Powerplay - how to connect to report to a cube & have automatic update of the report 9. Command understanding- how to use command file to get cognos cubes & reports to run on a schedule 10. Trouble shooting & resolve cognos related issues 11. Skills on SQL server . TSQL Skills , SSIS DTS1 12. Advanced Performance and Tuning Skills 13. Strong Data Analysis and Design Skills 14. Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills 15. Self starter who can perform consultant role 16.
