Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer this position will assist with the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of security systems. This person will be responsible for the day to day support for the department’s security applications (Blue Coat, Check Point, ADFS, DLP Software...) on an as needed basis. A strong understanding of network security and connectivity and ADFS Security is highly desired. The individual will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these systems is maintained. The person in this position will assist with the design and maintenance of the department's firewalls. This person will also consult with project development teams and provide recommendations to maintain a secure computing environment to the CISO. This position will work with the CISO ensuring the security and integrity of data, data systems, and data networks across the entire department is maintained. Knowledge and application of (or the ability to learn) the Department’s and Commonwealth’s policies, procedures and software is critical.
