*Duration:** 1yr+* *Interview Process:** 1 phone, 1 skype* *Rate:** $50/hr C2C* *Top 5:* *5+ years J2EE Portal Development Experience* *2.5+ years’ experience with Spring* *3.5+ years’ experience with Hibernate* *Webservices (at least one of CXF, Axis, or Jersey)* *2+ years UNIX and/or Linux Experience* *Daily Responsibilities: * Work with software development professionals building portal applications in the J2EE/Portal environment Build and manage relationships with business team to understand their goals Propose technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed those goals Engage in application architecture and design decisions Deliver a robust self-service environment for the end user community Implement/maintain a repeatable iterative software development methodology Manage SDLC processes and associated artifacts Ensure ongoing compliance with SDLC processes Communicate with stakeholders and management team on a regular basis in a concise manner Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions.
