Title: Websphere Message Broker Developer Location: Freeport , Maine Contract Duration: 6 months + Environment: Business Casual Minimum Requirements: Must Have: Experience in requirements gathering. Experience working with other technical subject matter experts and business analysts to create accurate and complete designs. Experience in creating functional and technical design documents. Experience in integration test planning, coordination and execution. WMB v8 analysis, design, coding, testing and performance experience. Experience must include using ESQL as the scripting language and DFDL for message modelling. In WMB v8, experience with consuming and exposing web services – SOAP over HTTP in particular, RESTful services a plus. WebSphere MQ v7 experience including queues and channels, MQ clustering, pub/sub from WMB using MQ as the publication engine. Excellent communication, English-language skills. Nice to Have: WSRR v7 experience a plus – in particular calling WSRR from WMB. Experience/familiarity with ESB Gateway Pattern a plus. Experience with security processes in WMB a plus – in particular, WS-Security, LDAP for authentication and authorization, identity management. Description: We have an immediate need for a senior level WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) Developer/Integration Lead for our Enterprise Integration Team. The selected candidate will be accountable for working with other technical and business subject matter experts to create accurate and complete WMB designs, to develop and code from program specifications, and to plan/facilitate the testing process to ensure a seamless set of integrations. Note: Our contract WMB developers have the technical ability to perform the work, but most are lacking the business acumen needed for the role. A large part of the role (at least 50%) is being able to understand a business problem. We’re finding that they need to involve our employees more than expected because they are unable to solve a business problem on their own. Because of this, we would like to see two references included with each resume. Candidates will also be expected to cite two examples of instances where they were required to work directly with the business to solve a complex problem.
