*OVERVIEW*
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to work with a small
team and have a significant impact in the design, implementation, and
maintenance of the client’s critical database systems.
The ideal candidate will independently and proactively evaluate, recommend,
install, test, modify and maintain complex relational database system
hardware and software configurations meeting functional and technical
requirements. The database administrator will work with the team and IT
leadership in the identification and implementation of process and
technical best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
·       Work with end users, senior management, application development,
data warehouse and other IT and business teams to design databases and data
warehouse systems.
·       Build, test, and implement small to large and complex databases
according to requirements and to meet operational and disaster recovery
SLAs.
·       Proactively monitor database performance and overall health.
Recommend, review and implement changes to maintain performance and meet
customer expectations and SLAs. Evaluate growth and identify needed
capacity changes to maintain overall system health and availability.
·       Set process and technology standards working with the overall IT
organization that support efficiency, operational quality, and DBMS
performance.
·       Provide on-call support for the production environment and
supporting development activities; triage production issues, evaluate
support requests, identify required structure and data changes; migrate
fix/changes through the environment consistent with change control policies
and procedures.
·       Execute regular operational management procedures including
backups, data migrations, audits, etc.
·       Document designs, modifications and installations of existing and
new systems.
·       Assist in establishing long term strategic goals for the team and
technologies used within the database and data management domains.
·       Provide guidance to junior team members. Assist in the development
of technical, professional and leadership skills.

*REQUIREMENTS*
·       Minimum 8 years of experience managing large databases and data
warehouse environments.
·       Oracle 11G experience on Windows platforms (Oracle 12C experience
desirable) and Oracle RAC.
·       Strong experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid
Control/Cloud Control), SQL analyzer, PL/SQL development.
·       Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories,
principles, and practices.
·       Experience supporting custom development and enterprise application
package implementations
·       Experience with business requirements gathering/analysis, data
process flowcharting and data modeling.
·       Experience with Oracle Streams and/or GoldenGate.
·       Working technical experience with designing, building, and
supporting multi-terabyte data warehouses.
·       Experience evaluating, recommending and implementing OLTP Database
and Data warehouse performance enhancements including but not limited to
data partitioning.
·       Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability
to interact with all levels of the organization.
·       Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and
products as required.

*BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE*
·        SQLServer, DB2 and UDB experience
·       TOAD
·       Tuning materialized views using SQL Access Advisor and PL/SQL
procedures.

This position will support the operation, maintenance, administration,
security and problem resolution of core applications and services within
the organizations IT infrastructure. Management of non-core applications,
services, and hardware to be assigned as needed. Facilitate all data and
voice network resolution support with external partners and vendors.
Responsibilities:
·       Configure and monitor the entire infrastructure to ensure smooth
and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
·       Facilitate resolution support of all data network hardware,
software, and peripheral devices including monitoring software, firewalls,
load balancers, routers, switches etc.
·       Manage and support the wireless environment.
·       Administration of the VoIP infrastructure and unified
communications including the contact center.
·       Practice asset management, including maintenance of hardware /
software inventory and related documentation / technical specifications.
·       Monitor and test system and network performance providing
statistics and reports to meet Service Level Agreements.
·       Provide High Availability and Disaster Recovery support for all
core voice and data networks. Ensure security and audit compliance using
firewalls, IPS/IDS, testing and scanning.
·         3-5 years experience with Cisco, Voice, Data.
High school diploma required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology preferred
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Management of network and system applications in the support of an
enterprise infrastructure.
Hands-on technical knowledge of server and network operating systems.
Working technical knowledge of server and network hardware.
Excellent troubleshooting experience.
Working knowledge in virtualization, centralized management, Microsoft
active directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy preferred.
Mobile Device Management experience preferred
CCNA or higher certifications preferred
