This position may requires travel Qualifications Basic • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 7 years of experience with IT Infrastructure Skills Skills Required • Installation, Administer and develop on SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012. Working with various components of MS SQL and providing solution design as per requested Architecture • Design Databases, Upgrade and Migration on MS-SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012. Performance Tuning, Query optimization, SQL Query Execution Plan analysis. Setting up SQL Server Trace for various performance based requirements. Develop Test Cases and providing test reports. • Good understanding and hands on experience on Database high availability concepts, like SQL Server Cluster, DB Mirroring, Log shipping and Replication. • Good knowledge on Backup and restore. Creating Maintenance Plans and SQL Jobs. T-SQL scripting including stored procedures, triggers and views. • Set up database security.
