Needs to be a SharePoint subject matter expert
Must have worked on BIG enterprise development projects
Should have used VisualStudio.net in a SharePoint development project
before

 Duties and Responsibilities:

The specific SharePoint SME/developer responsibilities for this task
are to support the design and development of a MOSS Implementation at
a Federal Agency based in Washington D.C.. The

SharePoint SME/Developer will provide development and configuration
support of MOSS site collections, sites, lists, document libraries and
other customized features.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- SharePoint Configuration:
Provide full life-cycle support for the development of SharePoint
applications in both WSS and MOSS 2007
Design, build, deploy, maintain advanced site collections, lists,
document libraries and other customizations
Implement configuration standards for the Department including
Metadata Tagging
- Governance:Define and implement configuration standards for the
department including
:Metadata Tagging
Develop/Design Master Page and layout
Enforce enterprise content, security and governance for the Sharepoint
portal
Design, build, deploy and maintain advanced content types

Follow standard work practices of CTO including generating SOPs,
training guides, requirements and other documentation as needed.-
Implementation Activities:
Meet with customers to solicit requirements, obtain approvals and
ensure adoption of SharePoint solutions.
Migrate sites from SharePoint 2003 to MOSS 2007
Validation: Design, build, execute, maintain the test plans for all
advance site collections, sites, lists, document libraries and other
customizations
Provide as needed training on solution
Most, if not all, functionality, page design, etc,. should be
developed in Visual Studios.NET. Code should be versioned and deployed
in environments (Dev, Staging/Test, Production) using WSPs

(solutions). The person should have significant experience with the
BDC and with Publishing pages and Content Deployment
- Post implementation support:
Tier 3 technical support to site administrators when coding or
integration issues arise

 Required Qualifications:

- At least 1 year MOSS implementation experience
- 5+ years experience building web-based business applications
- 2+ years experience implementing portals and content management
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communications, particularly with a
customer focus
- Experience integrating Active Directory with SharePoint solutions
- Technical requirements definition
- Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or
equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.
 - Development experience in JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, CSS
- Experience developing custom workflows, web parts, event handlers,
etc
- Visual Studio experience
- SharePoint 2003 experience
- Microsoft development experience (.Net, C#, SQLServer 2005)
