experience and Commitment Accounting experience.*


*Overview : *Our large, distributed client seeks a PeopleSoft Academic Pay
Consultant who will lead the design and deployment of a multi-faceted
academic pay solution for an ongoing PeopleSoft HCM implementation.


*ESSENTIAL Job Functions: *

Lead the requirements gathering, design and configuration, build (with a
designated technical resource), testing, training (subject to change), and
deployment of a multi-faceted pay solution in an academic environment

Partner with Stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements and
maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations

Collaborate with Module Functional Leads to understand in-progress designs
and build a pay solution that integrates cohesively with the existing
implementation build

Work closely with an assigned developer to validate code functionality and
unit test results

Communicate with Functional Program Manager to identify and escalate risks
to successful delivery of solution based on agreed-upon timeline


The responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the
job. The qualifications below are representative of the knowledge, skills,
and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable

*Required Skills: *

MINIMUM 2-4 years of PeopleSoft implementation experience

Experience in at least 1-2 large, distributed implementations of 9.x
version of PeopleSoft

Ability to lead requirements gathering, build consensus when differing
opinions exist, and design a creative solution for a complex business
problem

Prior experience in Higher Education, specifically research institutions

Working knowledge on PeopleSoft HCM modules of Payroll for North America,
Workforce Administration, and Commitment Accounting

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation
skills

Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of people, including
campus leaders and technical developers, to accomplish goals as planned
under tight deadlines

Experience with MS Word and Excel


*Preferred*

Experience designing and deploying complex system customizations

Familiarity with academic pay plans

Exposure to Federal research grant regulations, specifically those related
to the NIH salary cap

Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational
databases, specifically Oracle DB2
