*Job Description* - 6-8 years relevant database management experience required. - Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Planning and requesting needed resources to install both SAP and Non-SAP DB2 instances and/or databases. - Install, maintain(fix apply or upgrade), configure, monitor, tune DB2 instances/DBs, diagnose problems, correct errors, manage security and backup/recover DBs. - Assist application DBAs to maintain schema objects, tune SQL and run Runstats/Reorgs. - Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. - This applicant must have DB2 LUW proficiency with SAP experience in addition to a strong technical background. - The candidate must have strong HADR experience.
