There is the need for an engineer to have the capability of configuring the
following. Location: Northern VA; initial onsite, but majority remote work.
1. ACM based SIP trunking utilizing the Avaya SES server HA 200 VZB
Best SIP Trunk Configuration Setup The engineer should have the knowledge
to configure the SES Server to accept SIP based trunking into the ACM
platform from the VZB cloud
The configuration is based a dual SES server design, so in effect there
will be two SES servers in two data center connected to 2 standalone
Communication Manager systems.
The engineer should have the knowledge of how to set up the SES
environment in a dual hub scenario connected to a Cisco Cube Session Border
Controller via SIP transport.
The SES will be using TLS based SIP protocol so knowledge of TLS and the
conversion between Cisco Cube and VZB cloud will need to be known.
ACM 5.1 server will have to have AAR ARS routing permissions configured
to use this new trunk groups
MEDPro/ CLAN configuration may need to be configured in it own network
region to guarantee availability of the new IP trunk’s and its
resources Software
Specialist/Engineer should know how to set up SES load balancing as the
traffic may be split between the two SES servers and down to the two CM
systems
Configuration may need to have QOS parameters configured on the
different VOIP interfaces communication to the IP Trunk environment DID
administration would have to be known on the SES server and the CM system,
along with understanding how this needs to be split in the HA or Dual
environment
Adequate recourses will need to be validated the engineer to make sure there
is no resource issue with the current design in place.
3000 DID’s will need to be provisioned on the two SES servers
1500 users will be configured on each SES server for a total of 3000 users
2. CISCO Cube Configuration – May be a different SS/Engineer or the
same (Preferably the same person) 200 VZB Best SIP Trunk Configuration Setup
The engineer should have the knowledge to configure the Edge Cisco
Cube to communicate to the Avaya SES server and the VZB cloud
The Cisco Cube configuration is designed in the HA environment in a 2
Data Center design
Both Cisco Cubes need to be configured to accept TLS based SIP messages from
the Avya SES servers
The Cisco Cube will need to be set up on an Ethernet interface coming from
the VZB cloud
150 Concurrent Session’s will need to be configured on the Cisco Cube and
the Avaya SES server’s
3000 DID will need to be provisioned on the SBC
