Our clients SAP Enterprise Solutions department is looking for a SAP MM/PM
implementation/ support consultant to fill a new contract position.  The
resource will be responsible for new process Implementation in SAP MM&PM
space as needed and also provide support to the existing processes in SAP
MM and PM applications. The candidate will have the ability to recommend
alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and
standard system functionality. This resource will be a crucial member of
the implementation/Support team and responsible for overall solution
design, issue trouble shooting, and environment expertise.



Location: Houston TX,

Duration: Long term

Rate: $75/hr on C2C

•             Support business by sharing best practice configuration
skills.

•             Provide functional/configuration knowledge in designing SAP
MM/PM solutions to meet business requirements.

•             Work with business areas to understand problems and
requirements with the system/processes and recommend / develop specs to
resolve them.

•             Prepare detailed functional specs for development activities
including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.

•             Create functional specifications and technical specifications
for development and test development objects.

•             Evaluates potential integration of new and changed software
packages.

•             Ensure that all processes implemented are compliant with
Sarbanes-Oxley.



*Major Duties and Responsibilities :*

•             Minimum 7+ years’ implementation and support experience in
SAP Materials Mgmt. and Plant Maintenance modules as
Functional/Configuration Specialist.

•             In-depth Functional and configuration knowledge with ability
to design SAP solutions to meet business requirements.

•             Ability to estimate the financial impact of SAP design
decisions.

•             Procurement / Material Management / Plant Maintenance
business experience.

•             Strong design and configuration experience.

•             ECC 6.0 experience.

•             Define and manage the deliverables of functional team to meet
engagement objectives.

•             Be a hands on application expert and prepare / review project
deliverables (e.g. benefits realization strategy, to-be functional
requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (BPML),
business process design document, to-be functional design, baseline
configurations (IMG), process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios,
user acceptance tests, business process procedures) to ensure they meet
project objectives

•             Build and maintain relationships with key business personnel,
SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliations.

•             Utilize and apply best practices on projects based on
experience and in consultation with experts, appropriately tailored for the
client and their culture.

•             Lead/Participate in design workshops.

•             Contribute to knowledge base of the SAP Practice.

•             Ability to work in a team environment.

•             Excellent written and oral communication.

•             Good customer service skills.

•             Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.



*Skills and Experience :*

•             Must Have 7+ years of SAP experience as SAP MM&PM
implementation/support consultant

•             Must have in SAP MM: Hands on experience on (but not limited
to) Enterprise/Organization Structure, procurement of stock, procurement of
consumption, Pricing (PO/SO), inbound and outbound Delivery Processing,
account determination, Vendor Master, Material Master Data, Purchasing Info
Records, Contracts, Scheduling Agreement, Source List & quota arrangement
for optimized purchasing processing, Partner Functions, Output
determination, Idocs. Expertise in configuration of Special Business
processes like cross company procurement, intercompany PO/SO orders, Third
Party Procurement Process, subcontracting and vendor consignment.

•             Must have in SAP PM: Hands on experience (but not limited to)
-

PM Elements: Data acquisition, conversion and SAP upload: Most PM objects.

Structuring Technical Objects: Equipment, Functional Locations, Assemblies,
BOMs, Measurement Points Classifications, Characteristics & Variant.

Configuration: Equipment, Functional Locations, Task Lists, Configurable
Materials, Pricing.

Task Lists: Equipment, Functional Location, General (incl. configurable)

Planned Maintenance: Strategies, Packages, Maintenance Items, Plans,
Scheduling.

Orders and Notifications: All aspects incl. WO settlements.

Catalogues: Notifications, Equipment, Functional Locations and Measurements.

•             Good knowledge on various IDocs and EDI. Experience on
EDI/ALE messaging, Partner profile etc.

•             Must have strong business process knowledge.

•             Must have Hands on experience with configuration and master
data set up.

•             Must be Familiar with upload tools like LSMW, BDC etc.

•             At least 5+ end to end SAP MM/PM implementation experience
preferred.

•             Experience in all aspects of the implementation process,
business process analysis, system configuration, testing, end-user and
project-team training, and production support.

•             Any experience with SRM 7.0 and SAP PI will be preferred.

•             Prefer candidates to have Knowledge of technical aspects - to
be able to find user exits, function modules, perform debugging etc. Basic
ABAP debugging knowledge to the extent of understanding the existing custom
code and to search on available user exits and enhancements.

•             Knowledge of some of the additional modules like FI,PS, BW,
and SRM will be preferred

•             Cross functional and integration knowledge with SAP
MM/PM/FI/PS and SRM preferred.

•             Business and IT experience with implementing and operating
SAP applications.

•             Good understanding of the multiple SAP modules and the
ability to research & apply business best practices.

•             Experience designing and improving business process and
controls with deep business process re-engineering experience.

•             Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and
objectives, project status and deliverables with senior
managers/executives.

•             Experience and knowledge of ASAP Methodology preferred.

•             Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•             Self motivating and be able to plan your own work.

•             Oil/Gas industry experience preferred.

•             Gas Pipeline/Gas Storage experience a plus.

•             Experience optimizing an existing SAP implementation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
