Position : Sr.UI web Developer with WCAG 2.0 Guidelines Location : NY CIty,NY /NJ Duration : 6-12 Months *Skills and Experience Required :* - Extensive knowledge and experience with the WCAG 2.0 Guidelines, deep technical expertise in web development, extensive experience with I/T accessibility design / development / testing practices, - experience in digital project direction / digital governance (especially in area of accessibility), effective written, verbal communication and presentation skills. - Work with development teams to make sure they adhere to accessibility standards, policies and methodology integration activities. - Provide overall accessibility design, development and testing guidance and consulting to development organization design, development and test leads. - Escalate any difficult issues to Accessibility Program leadership. Assist with distribution of accessibility design and testing tools and advise on their effective use. - Lead / oversee / coordinate the delivery of I/T accessibility training (working with training specialists) to enable designers, developers and testers in client lines of business. - Assist with delivery of internal marketing to promote I/T accessibility programs across client lines of business. Assist with I/T accessibility reporting management including applications standards conformance (WCAG 2.0 AA is target level), and other compliance dimensions (e.g. training delivered, method integration, etc.). - Assist with I/T accessibility quality management including governance checkpoints, defect management, exception handling and user acceptance. - Assist with third party (i.e. procurement) I/T accessibility issues in various client lines of business.
