Please do let me know if you have any suitable candidates for the same. *Sr. Linux Systems Administrator * *Location: Denver, CO * *Rate: $55/hr on C2C* *Duration: 6+ months* Must have experience with Linux, Virtualization, and Shell Scripting. Programming experience is a plus. *Responsibilities of the Sr. Linux Systems Administrator:* · Monitors and manages enterprise IT and related systems · Performs break/fix operations on system components, and ITIL change management · Supports software developers by managing both staging and production server environments · Plans and executes system deployments and upgrades · Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation to support users, airline services, and other products Requirements: · Extensive Linux systems administration experience · Experience administrating KVM virtualized environments · Experience implementing and managing enterprise storage systems (NetApp NAS, and FibreChannel SAN) · Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP administration a must · Strong understanding of Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration with particular focus on site-to-site VPN · Ability to configure and administer Nagios, Xymon, and other network management and monitoring systems (including Graphite, Logstash, and Elasticsearch) · Knowledge of installation, configuration, and administration of PostgreSQL database systems, and Asterisk open source telephony products and services · Ability to automate routine administration tasks through the use of Cron and Shell scripting · Knowledge of RPM packaging and deployment · Experience with Jenkins, Cobbler and other continuous integration tools · Strong understanding of Puppet configuration management including setting up and managing a Puppet master · Experience administering IBM Websphere MQ Series · Understanding of SVN, GIT, and other source code management systems a plus · Experience programming in Ruby on Rails and administration of Rails-based applications · Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills *Thanks & Regards,* Alex Rodriguez Talent Acquisition Manager Data Group Inc.
