The role requires an expert level of experience in gathering requirements for complex, multi-phased business application development efforts, enhancements and/or projects. He/she will work across large user groups to facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, create use-case models and specifications, design and populate requirements repositories, establish requirements traceability, and manage full lifecycle change against requirements. This role requires an extremely high level of business process and data experience, along with knowledge of the Identity & Access Management (IAM / IDM) domain. *Things you need to have* Must have prior Identity and Access Management experience. This includes experience defining and documenting Onboarding / Exit management process (or known as Hire-Transfer-Terminate processes). Must also have worked with defining requirements for Single Sign On and Simple Sign On integrations between technical teams. Serve as a liaison to other application development teams in planning, coordination, development and deployment of multi-team enhancement or projects Address issues, mitigate risks, communicate status to business sponsors, BRM/ADM Management and other IT teams for a duration of project *Business Analyst (Business Intelligence)* *Ref: 12262* *Location: Los Angeles, CA* *6+ months Contract* *Max rate: $50* *LOCALS OR NEARBY CANDIDATES ONLY!!* *Overview* The Business Analyst in IT serves as a primary interface to the business users, with the guidance from either a senior business analyst or business relationship manager to assist the Application Development teams in understanding the business processes, workflows, and information requirements of the users. The Business Analyst will primarily serve in the support of the current and future applications and the requirement analysis process. Providing consulting on reactive, proactive and enhancement support services, as well as testing services to one or many applications *Things you need to have* *the candidate should have strong reporting, interface design and SQL experience. Prior experience with Tableau and other reporting tools is a big plus. Upon successful performance this candidate may also be converted to full time. * Strong experience gathering requirements for complex, multi-phased business application development efforts, enhancements or projects Prior reporting experience is essential. Understanding the report development process – data preparation, functional processing needed, collecting and organizing reporting requirements and designing the final reporting output. Knowledge and experience with Data Visualization Tools like QlickView or Tableau preferred. Knowledge using Business Objects Web Intelligence and developing reports *Strong SQL experience is essential*. CPG or M&E Experience is a nice to have Experience with Business Intelligence or Consumer facing Applications and Tools is a plus. Functional Data Modelling Experience to represent the entities involved is a plus. Data Analysis experience using statistical methods, hypothesis based data examination and design of metrics/KPIs using assumptions is a big plus but not required. *What you will be doing* Collect, review, analyze, manage, system and user requirements from business users Document detailed functional & data business requirements, process flows, use cases, & information needs Work with the Application Development technical leads to clarify functional requirements. Primary liaison to QA team, create test scenarios and perform UAT.
