Work closely with business areas including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Data Warehouse, and other relevant areas to perform analysis, define scope and requirement, design test cases, perform system testing and assist user acceptance testing and analysis. Areas of focus are upstream and downstream interfaces and their integration, data sources, data transformation rules as well as data related credit rules and models. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Confer with business unit management and staff to acquire business requirement. Activities include, but not limited to, analyzing and defining data needs, data related credit rules and models for releases; work with upstream and downstream stakeholders to define interfaces; working closely with analytics engine personnel to define engine interfaces. Writing detailed requirement and use cases. Design functional test cases using systematic functional coverage tool, build test cases and derive expected results; perform system testing using the test cases. System testing include, but not limited to, component testing, application end to end testing, downstream integration testing as well as regression testing. Work with business users to conduct user acceptance testing. Participate in production support for accounting close each month, and work with business area to perform analysis if needed. Develop complex queries to perform ad-hoc analysis to support business. Qualifications EDUCATION * B.S. in math, computer science or engineering. MBA or M.S. degree preferred. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 10 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * In-depth knowledge of secondary mortgage market (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac experiences are preferred) especially in the financial data, valuation, pricing or quantitative accounting areas * In-depth understanding of and experience working on mortgage credit models. * Strong analytical and quantitative ability * In-depth understanding of mortgage data and their implications to credit models. * Strong database experiences to quickly perform complex queries and ad-hoc analysis to support demanding business. * Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. Good at creating requirements and testing documentations * Programming skills such as SAS, C/C++, scripting languages are preferred.
