Job Title: SAP Plant Maintenance Rollout Support Analyst Location: Mt. Olive NJ Duration: 6+Months SAP Plant Maintenance Rollout Support Analyst / IT Site Lead Job PM: The Plant Maintenance (SAP/PM) System is critical to the manufacturing environment in that it touches a large population within the plant facility. It involves operators, maintenance technicians, planner/schedulers, stockroom operators and more. In addition it has the potential to interact with associates as well as third-party vendors. Access for these users’ ranges from frequent and daily (i.e. SAP/PM is the primary tool for their job) to seldom and ad-hoc (i.e. purely exception based). These conditions create challenging constraints in which the solution must operate. The global template has been developed and has been deployed at several European sites using a GuiXT front end, and in the US and Mexico using the NRX Portal front end (the Template Global Standard). Additional deployments are planned in the Asia/PAC region. The purpose of the job is to provide leadership at the sites for the PM program. To accomplish this, the candidate must have a working knowledge of SAP/PM as well as the periphery SAP modules, so that they can quickly become an expert on the template functionality. Site Leadership involves providing support directly to the site business and technical teams to assist the execution of project plans; coordinating various tasks related to Integration Testing, Site Communication, Data Loading, Training, and Status Reporting; managing the activities to facilitate turnover of the site to the global support team; and ensuring the site infrastructure is capable and ready for the new operating mode. The Site Lead works closely with the Business Lead in ensuring the successful delivery of PM to the specific plant. Key Responsibilities: Manage the PRISM PM deployment site activities Manage and build business relationships. Deliver stated benefits, on time, to quality and to budget Follow EBC best practice processes Ensure quality of delivered solutions, including delivered benefits, cost effectiveness, end user quality perception, and support impact. Coordinate vendors, both in terms of delivery of their commitments, and developing their products and services Coordinate the right level and frequency of communication to all stakeholders Proactively flag and communicate project issues Influence vendors to deliver the technologies, architectures and services that will maximize value for Mars Inc. Understand the core functionality that is delivered in the templates. Evaluate functional requests from the user community Prioritize and resolve issues as they arise. Escalating when necessary. Coordinate site SIT, BIT, and user training with key business users. Qualifications: Project and Task Execution and Tracking skills, sense of urgency in implementing projects, attention to detail and capability to take corrective actions to keep activities on track. Strong IT background with direct experience/exposure to SAP Projects Technical aptitude sufficient to facilitate resolution of infrastructure and support issues. Functional knowledge and understanding of the interactions of SAP/PM with other SAP modules, such as Finance and Buying Ability to learn quickly and understand business process and functionality of delivered applications. Demonstrated service oriented attitude; approach and techniques to improve quality, availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Strong interpersonal consulting and communications skills both written and verbal. Demonstrated team working skills. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
