Key areas of experience for this candidate include a working knowledge of GIS and ESRI products. *Key responsibilities include:* - Design, develop & implement solutions using ESRI’s ArcGIS suite: ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Portal. - Experience using ArcGIS for Server geoprocessing services, including developing Python scripts. - Ability to create intuitive user interfaces and tools that will appeal to both novice and expert users of geospatial applications. - Provide solid effort estimates by reviewing business requirements and software specifications. - Participate in internal discussions about design approaches and cost estimates for new projects. - Provide technical collaboration within a wider virtual team to ensure projects stay on schedule. - Establish and maintain strong, healthy relationships with business partners. *Competencies* - Works independently with minimal guidance. - Capacity to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. - Ability to solve complex problems and visualize new perspectives on existing solutions to improve performance, efficiency and safety. - Ability to interpret internal and external customer needs.
