*Role :: Oracle EBS Consultant* *Location :: Carlsbad, CA* *Duration :: 3 Months C2H* *Position Summary:* The Solution Manager is responsible for the evolution, implementation and integrity key investments on the global Oracle ERP solution in Information technology. The Applications Manager will have direct reports supporting numerous business applications crossing several functional areas of the company. Position reports to Director, IT Applications. *Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:* · Accountable for evolution and integrity of ERP ebs business applications focusing on Order To Cash and Finance business areas · Responsible for meeting with key business owners and users of IT applications to understand future requirements and address support needs · Collects requests for new technologies, formulates solutions, estimates effort and budget, and develops business cases to support change · Direct control of certain applications costs in the IT budget including outsourcing of support and development, software maintenance, training, etc… · Career responsibility for multiple direct reports including team of IT Analysts · Project management of key technology projects · Assists in developing applications architecture for us and its relation to the overall company business strategy and adidas Global IT strategy · Acts as liaison to counterparts in adidas Global IT to leverage use of technology globally · Designs technology solutions to address business needs and balances trade offs in cost, quality, and ability to meet business needs · Manages contractors, consultants, and outsourced teams in the delivery of information technology support and change · Articulates benefits of the application of information technology to key business management and users · Assists in negotiating contracts, support agreements, and other arrangements as it relates to IT applications · Works closely with IT infrastructure, Support Center, and Development groups in support of and delivery of information technology applications · Prioritizes team activities and reports progress and status of work to IT management and business management as it relates to ongoing support and project related implementations · Tracks personal and team activity and leverages this data in managing resource capacity and in scoping future work · Stays abreast of latest technology and regularly reviews potential paths of change with IT management · Follows, practices, and champions ITIL standards and processes within his/her team · Responsible for annual reviews and career management for multiple direct reports *Pre-Requisites:* · Minimum 7 years experience in IT related field · Minimum education: 4 year college degree (preferably in a technical field) · Strong project management experience · Experience in one or more of the following business disciplines preferred: · Sales · Customer Service · Order Management · Distribution / Inventory Management · Invoicing / Billing · Strong experience with Oracle e-business suite especially Order to Cash and Financials modules including; · Distribution Bundle · Order Management · Advanced Pricing · Configurator · Global Order Promising · Shipping · Financials · General Ledger · Receivables · Payables · iExpenses · … · Experience with Oracle technologies: · Oracle ebs development tools (P/L SQL, workflow,etc…) · Oracle Database and Application Server · P/L SQL and Oracle tools · HP-Linux · Experience in managing multiple direct reports including career review responsibilities · Excellent teamwork and verbal/written communication skills · Fully understands systems development life cycle · Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and resources simultaneously · Experience or training in ITIL preferred Thank you. *Devendra *|* VBeyond Corporation* Email id : devend...@vbeyond.com (908) 988-0329 Ext - 307 | (866) 614-3884 (F) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
