*Position :- Business Analyst Duration: *1 year * Experience:* 10+ years * Location:* Santa Clara, CA * Engagement Start Date:* Immediate *Role: Financial Statistical Model Developer with SAS experience* *Roles and responsibilities:* · Banking and Finance Domain Experience. · Quantitative analysis, data extraction and manipulation; · Complex excel modeling; · Maintaining and developing pricing model macros. · Performing adhoc analysis to improve balance sheet efficiency. · Financial and ratio analysis; · Formulate and agree asset targets; · Drive the implementation of initiatives to conclusion; and · Development of accurate pricing models, portfolio models , balance sheet targets, forecasts Will be expected to develop and maintain Accounting, Payment and Financial Statistical Models. · Interact with the Business - gathering requirements, modeling the data, reports etc. · Data Analysis through strong data analytical concepts. · Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes. · Presenting data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and in some organizations it also includes building or designing data input or data collection screens. *Experience:* · Banking and Finance Domain Experience. · Excellent Skills in Financial & Econometric as well as Economic modeling should be very skillful at interpreting balance sheet related ratio's and assumptions building for financial modeling. · Prior experience in Financial product management, Finance product analytics, Finance System Analysis, Financial reporting , Financial data management (Any two ) · Strong Exposure to Accounting, Payment and Financial Statistical Models. · Strong Experience in interacting with the Business - gathering requirements, modeling the data, reports etc. · Data Analysis and ability to demonstrate of strong data analytical concepts. · Importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes. · Presenting data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and in some organizations it also includes building or designing data input or data collection screens. · Ability to Write Data Definition Language or Data Manipulation Language SQL commands; be responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical tools like Microsoft Excel, SAS, SPSS and others. *Skills and competencies:* · Mandatory Functional Skills : Banking Concepts, experience in portfolio management / analytics / finance as Financial Analyst, Balance Sheet Mastery · Mandatory Technical Skills : Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers and SQL, Data Modeling & Analytics, SAS (Statistical Analytical System) · Desirable Technical Skills :Experience in writing solid Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures and SQL with Base SAS experience · Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of thought · Ability to work independently and in a team environment · Ability to learn complex businesses very quickly, define problems accurately while paying attention to details in the solution · Ability to develop strong relationships with client and offshore teams · Excellent communications skills *Education Qualification:* Masters in Business, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research or other quantitative field.
