*Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Grand Rapids, MIDuration: 6+ Months This position will manage multiple projects acting as the Business Relationship liaison between IT (for Retail POS and Labor area) and internal/external development resources (specifically Digital Transformation area). Will work with Customers to define project specifications, system integration points and requirements. Work with Vendors to identify solutions that meet customer needs. SOW development, Budget mgt., and day to day customer meetings and project related activities will be a focus for these spots. Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:Providing technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team or support, in the analysis, design, and development of business applicationsProviding technical consulting support on projects Developing business relationships and integrating activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project effortsGather functional specs for systems. Designing and developing applications according to established IT standards, including the Meijer MethodologyLeading, collecting and analyzing business requirements for large, multifunctional projectsPerforming feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate designPreparing detailed design, specs and test plansIdentifying conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutionsTechnical Skills Skill LevelDevelopment Background AdequateMS Office AdequatePresntations/Meeting Facilitation Highly SkilledRelations DB Exposure AdequateLeadership Ability to manage and lead meetings.*
