Position: Java Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Job Description: Key skills required for the job are: - Java-J2EE(Mandatory) - Webservices-SOA(Mandatory) - Weblogic App Server Should be aware of the fundamentals and basics on J2EE Overview, Architecture, Components, Clients, Containers, Technologies (overview of HTML, Javascript, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Struts, XML,EJB,?..), Request handling and coding knowledge. Should understand - what is unit testing (Screen testing, Class testing etc) Understands characteristics of a service oriented architecture Understands different approaches for integration and messaging Understands the approaches for communicating with an external system Can define web services and web application use cases for different business interactions. Can evaluate products and propose optimal solution for a given problem *Job Resposibility:* AS a Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module. You should have good experience in application of standard software development principles. You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks. You should have in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/ programming language. You should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers.
