Business Consultant Needed with SAS and Unix Exp Rate: 40 hr C2C
Duration: 3 months Location: San Francisco, CA Position Description: Experience Level: 4 yr degree plus 7-10 yrs exp Responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications and assuming responsibility for the end-to-end planning, development and implementation processes. Duties may include: Research, analyze and determine information needs and dataflow requirements Assist in the data architecture and data cleansing methodology and implementation Programming and automation using SAS and SAS/ETL tools Testing and controls Documentation Communicate results Required Skills: Extensive hands on SAS programming on a UNIX environment Highly experienced with SAS Macros, DO Loops and de-bugging Experience in Data Warehouse/Repository and DBMS design and development Experience in performance optimization and auditing controls Experience in SAS, SQL (or PROC SQL), and Unix shell scripts. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong documentation and metadata skills. Preferred Skills: Experience programming in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Previous work on the planning, architecture and implementation of a data warehouse Experience with ETL tools, specifically SAS/ETL Have experience with reporting tools - preferably Cognos ReportNet, SAS Enterprise Guide Thanks and Regards, Amrutha Aim Computer Consulting N.
