LOCAL CANDIDATES ALWAYS PREFERRED

   - Position Title - Technical Writer/Business Analyst
   - Duration - 3 Months - Good chance for extension.  Might be converted
   - Location - DC3 - Morse Road Columbus, OH
   - Description



  Revise documents as new issues arise

• Will also construct training manuals and appropriate documentation
related to EA

• Author artifacts to communicate effectively utilizing written and visual
media



Skill Level

• The Technical Writer position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience
in technical writing

• Prior experience writing technical manuals/user guides for technology

• Good organization and follow-up skills are required

• Excellent written communication and visual design skills are required

• Ability to develop consistent formats for technical manuals and documents

• Extensive experience using industry standard technical writing and
graphic design tools such as those available from Microsoft and the Adobe
Creative Suite

• Experience in creating PowerPoint and Visio diagrams of architect’s
vision

• Experience in creating documents of application and infrastructure
designs

• Experience with agile and/or iterative project methodology processes

• Highly organized, deadline oriented, quality focused

• Understanding of technical and technology terms and processes

• Ability to work with minimal guidance



Description



In order to get the best candidates possible, we also ask that you answer
the following questions: • What are the top 3 skills you are looking for?
Detail driven and creative, with the ability to give recommendations on
approach to diagraming systems based off of previous experience. • Is there
a possibility for extension? Yes, and possibility to hire full-time. • What
is the size of team, and who will this candidate be working with? The
candidate will work directly with the EA and Innovation teams which have
roughly 10 portfolio and enterprise architects. They will also work with
technical leads, solution architects, on our sub-domain support teams. •
What is the interview process, and timing behind it? We would like to start
with phone interviews, narrow the candidates down to 2-3, and then have
onsite interviews. • What is an absolute must have for a candidate in this
position? Ability to learn quickly, and start initial drafts of documents
with minimal guidance.
