Interview Process: phone, f2f Background Check: criminal and credit Job Description The BI Analyst will support the Oracle 11g upgrade of the Oracle BI application, as well as responsibility for developing, implementing requirements as needed. The BI Analyst is responsible for staying up to date on functionality issues, availability of any system fixes and enhancements, as well as suggesting internal systems configuration changes, with the goal of enhancing the user experience. Requirements will also include support of determining the sourcing of data and functionality from 11i to R12. The BI Analyst will interact with team members at all levels to ensure a smooth implementation and successful go live on a multi-phase deployment. *SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Acts as the primary contact for the Oracle BI upgrade - Engages appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise - Works with GPS Operations to help implement, maintain, and improve overall system functionality - Effectively communicates functionality issues and enhancements related information to GPS management team - Communicates effectively with internal and external customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions - Train and support users on new updates/enhancements as needed *QUALIFICATIONS:* *Education: *Bachelor’s Degree required (computer science or related field of study) or comparable work experience *Experience:* - Three to five years of experience in Oracle EBS R11 and R12 Procure to Pay modules. Specifically AP, GL, iExpense, iProcurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Management. - Procurement and Spend Analytics experience with in-depth Knowledge of the Procure to Pay process. - Expertize in writing SQL code for strong data analysis through queries, data profiling, and data validation exercises. - Proven experience delivering reports, trending analysis and dashboards via business intelligence solutions using industry leading tools and practices. - Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) version 10g and higher, specifically Answers and Dashboards. - Ability to extract, aggregate, normalize and mine data sets for analysis. - Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access including data manipulation, database design and basic statistical & arithmetic functions. - Experience using the Oracle Spend Classification tool. - Experience using OBI Apps Procurement & Spend Analytics version 7.9.6.2 or higher. *Knowledge:* Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) analytics tool (10g/11g).
