*Please let me know if you have any consultant for this position.* Java Architect Madison WI American family insurance Primary Skill: Enterprise Solution Architect *Project Description*: This position requires an experienced architect with a minimum of 5 years in distributed, web-based Enterprise Java architecture. Candidate must have a strong understanding of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages, relational databases, message queues, SOAP and REST web services and legacy systems. *Assignment Details: *The candidate would be assigned to the Enterprise Solution Architecture unit within the I/S Architecture Department. In this role the candidate would be responsible for assignments involving solution architecture as well as mentoring and consulting. The Enterprise Solution Architect leads the definition of high-level candidate and solution architectures for large and/or complex enterprise-class solutions that make up the enterprise architecture. They ensure that all enterprise perspectives of the solution are addressed, including data, application, technology, and security considerations. Through collaboration with other architects and system specialists, they are also responsible for establishing technical reference architectures, architecture patterns, and standards to promote enterprise efficiency and agility, ensure solution architecture quality, and ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture directions.
