Here is the job description: Job Title: Mobile Application Developer Location: Waltham MA Duration: 4 months Project Description: My client has a client server application studio it provides to its end customers. This application studio is in the process of being "duplicated" in a mobile application format. They are covering platforms that include BlackBerry, Iphone and Android mobile devices. A majority of the application functions have been ported on the blackberry platform, less on the I phone and less than that on Android. The objective of this project will be to take short and longer term deliverables that will include features or enhancements to existing features that will need to be developed for the mobile app. Examples of those features could be adding camera capability, maps or GPS. Day to day responsibilities: · Develops and tests wireless applications from design specifications, including client applications, web services, and supporting databases · Uses MS Visual Studio .NET, the .NET Compact Framework, C#, the BlackBerry JDE, J2ME, and SQL to develop client and server-side systems · Understands and applies the software development lifecycle - analyze, design, build, test, implement and release management · Works with architects and business analysts to create effective technical requirements and design specifications · Contributes to quality assurance and software maintenance efforts · Effectively communicates technical concepts and work status with the engineering team, and business/functional concepts with design/management staff · Flexible attitude toward work assignments and strong team contributor · Travel may be required Required skills: · Demonstrated experience developing a client server based application on a mobile application platform like J2Me, Objective C, Android (prefer Blackberry J2ME) · 2+ years of experience building business applications using C++, Java, .NET (C# or VB.NET) · Strong SQL skills required; hands-on database design experience preferred · Strong communication and technical writing skills Desired Skills: · 1+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry preferred -- Regards, Gabriel Agile Enterprise Solutions, Inc || "Ensuring Client's Success"|| Ph: (630)-242-8896 x 302 Fax: (847)-890-6357 www.agilees.com|| Email: gabr...@agilees.com--
