Position : Data Scientist/Big Data Engineer Location : Boston,MA Duration : 6 to 12 months RESPONSIBILITIES: 2++ years of experience working as Data Scientist dealing with PB++ data with deep expertise in building infrastructure for Big Data platform with Deep expertise and hands on experience on installation, deployment, administration of Hadoop on large scale cluster implementations. Implementing Hadoop eco systems such as HBase, HDFS, Map-Reduce, Pig, Hive and others. Deep expertise in building big data platforms, such as Hadoop, on cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, OpenStack, and others. Solid background in dealing with traditional RDBMS Platform such as Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, or MySQL, etc. for loading/extracting dataagainst Big data platform. Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics. Working knowledge of java / python/R development. Masters’ degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other related technical discipline is preferred.
