Job Title SharePoint Business Analyst Experience Level 8+ yrs Location Des Moines, IA Duration 6+ months Job Description Must Have Skills: o Understands the capabilities and constraints of SharePoint Platform o Have knowledge about SharePoint 2013 out of box functionalities, 3rd Party Tools & Possible Customizations to offer alternatives to customer as necessary. o Understands the high level business objective and analyze/document the requirements (BRS) for SharePoint development team o Fair understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, content types and their respective applicability to sites, site collections and SharePoint solutions. o Conducts the research to obtain required information, be it Technical team, application owner OR others o Document Application Profiles (Documentation, Presentation)) & FSD (Documentation, Presentation) through self-research or collaboration with respective teams. o For change requirements; Elicits, documents and validates information from business experts used to produce project deliverables. o Should have involved in SP 32013 tool based and manual migration planning, data validation post migration and helping the business to validate the migrated contents. o Hands-on experience in data validation using the reports generated by the migration tools · Requirement Walkthrough and Estimation: o Provides walkthrough of the documented requirements to associated stakeholders (SMEs and Client BA team) along with needful support in prioritization and estimation o Represent business unit’s needs to the project team and coordinate back to business area for clarifications o Assist the project to have common understanding of the end deliverables to meet the business need o Act as a Primary liaison between the Client Business Analyst team, application owners and the technical development and support teams. · Development Support: o To document, manage and resolve clarifications across the development lifecycle · Others: o Research on new solutions, products, markets, competitors, and unstructured data o To prepare / refine and Business Capability Decks, Use Cases, Collaterals and other relevant artifacts o To demonstrate related solutions / capabilities to internal and external stakeholders o Delivery of user adoption programs, including training and innovative SharePoint adoption programs Thanks & Regards, Matt Blair / Global Resource Management, Inc.
