*LOCATION: Plano, TX * *Phone & Skype* *DURATION: 2-4 Months * DESCRIPTION: ============ TECHNICAL SKILLS: · The BI Developer should understand and have expertise in the various technologies needed to implement Microsoft BI solutions. The developer must have experience with the Microsoft BI stack and exposure to other technologies such as Data visualization tools and data optimization tools. · Specific technical skills desired include: · Relational Database and SQL Language · Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) (Microsoft SSIS) · Data Warehouse / Solution Design · Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology) · Analytics / OLAP Cube Development (Microsoft SSAS and MDX) · Report Development (Microsoft SSRS) REQUIRED SKILLS: ================ · Minimum 8 to 10 years' IT experience · Minimum 5 years' Business Intelligence experience with a strong operational focus utilizing SSRS · Minimum 3 years' experience with ETL utilizing SSIS extracting data from multiple technical sources and platforms · Some experience in analysis utilizing SSAS · Experienced with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance · Deep understanding of data modeling (dimensional, relational) and architecting · Experience with architecting/designing and implementing enterprise-level, full life-cycle BI platforms and solutions, e.g., infrastructure, security, applications, data architecture solution, design and delivery, etc. · Strong Data Warehousing knowledge · SQL database implementations and strong knowledge of SQL and stored procedure development · Expert knowledge in utilizing BI tools to build reports and provide analytic solutions (Experience with QlikView in particular is a plus) · Experience managing metadata and developing interactive dashboards with drilldown and drill across capabilities (Experience with QlikView in particular is a plus) · Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills · Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses and findings · Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS: ==================== · Experience with Qlikview Thanks for your Time & Consideration. *Vikshobhmani* *SR.
