Job Description Sr. Citrix Engineer position with one of our clients in the Cleveland, OH area. This person will work with the existing Windows Support team to design, implement, manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support internal Citrix Server Environments and external clients. Job Duties and Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert for the Citrix Environment. Manage and support, Citrix XenApp (6.5 and 7.6), XenDesktop (7.6), StoreFront (2.6 and 3.0), Provisioning Services (6.1 and 7.6), Receiver. Perform general administration of servers (upgrades, patching & installs). Provide direct and remote escalated application/server support in Citrix environments. Cross train team members on Citrix design and administration. Document configurations and procedures. Manage Citrix application builds, release cycles, patching and test schedules. Support and maintain information security measures as appropriate to the position. Provide application testing and validation in a multiuser environment. Experience, Skills, Knowledge Working knowledge of virtualization technologies. Expert knowledge of Windows server environments. Solid knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and application delivery/packaging solutions. Knowledge of enterprise storage systems and hyperconverged architecture. Solid knowledge and experience with both IMA and FMA Citrix architectures and policies. Familiarity with PowerShell, or any other form of scripting and automation. Familiarity with Citrix NetScaler and Netscaler Gateway. A solid understanding of basic networking to include TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs and switching plus experience with advanced network concepts such as load balancing (GSLB, NLB) and QoS. Citrix, Cisco and Microsoft certifications desired. (CCA – Virtualization, CCP – Virtualization, CCA – XenApp 6, etc.). 5+ years of experience working with Citrix Systems or other virtualization and remote computing platforms. 2+ years of Experience with XenApp and XenDesktop. Experience in managing and deploying multiple high-availability Citrix farms. Expert knowledge of Citrix configurations and client management.
