*Immediate Interview* *Need Local Only for Face to FaceCandidates will have a phone interview followed by an in-person interview.* Complete Description: Select testing methodologies and strategy, plan and define testing approach, and set standards Develops test plans, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing activity Develop manual and automated test cases and configurations Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status Monitors and tracks resolution of defects, coordinating with the product development team in order to prevent, report, and resolve Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks. Manage the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design and development of software Work with the product development teams to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to others on testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies Consistently work in an agile manner and support a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Behavior Characteristics: A strong passion for improving software quality Able to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges Able to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems Excellent communications -see attached Required Skills: Demonstratable and proven track record in Responsive testing. Good understand of web frameworks and corresponding strategies. Must be able to design testing frameworks and design platform independent tests. Sold hands on experience with Test planning, tracking, Text execution, Test reporting and Code coverage. Proven ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or performance tests, and managing defects. Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, UI testing, web service. Experience in working with testing tools such as HP Load Runner. XPath, JS, cross browser Dom understanding is a must Hands on experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc. Experience testing in both Windows and Linux environments. Agile software development experience: Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP).
