The developer works in collaboration with the lead developer and other team members to implement new functionality and resolves defects in existing functionality. Our agile approach to software development breaks work into sprints. Within each sprint, the developer is responsible for taking design artifacts and turning them into a finished product complete with unit tests. *DEVELOPMENT SKILLS/EXPERIENCE DESIRED* • Object Oriented Design and Development • Relational Database Design and Development • Test Driven Development • Agile Development *TECHNICAL SKILLS, TOOLS, APIS, AND SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE DESIRED* • C# (bonus: with Visual Studio 2012 and higher) • ASP.NET MVC and Web Development • Intermediate – speaking in patterns, anti-patterns, code smells, etc. • Basic – Team Foundation Server -- Knows how to merge code line by line, and can exercise good judgment, and be a part of a team with group code ownership. • Third-party tools: Pro‑lers, Resharper, PostSharp, Soap UI (a plus), Oracle ODP.NET for 11g (a plus) • Oracle PL/SQL • Basic – able to write stored procedures and packages • Intermediate – Understands 4 basic joins, case statements, basic indexing theory. • .NET 3.5 SP1, .NET 4 • Intermediate – Understand all primitives and collections very well.
