*Job Title**: QA Test Automation Engineer * *Location**: Raleigh, NC 27601* *Duration**: 6 Months* *Job Description:* Client’s IT team is seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer who will share ownership of the quality of our integration code and logic. We need someone who will enjoy development of automated unit and functional test suites, as well as contribute in enhancing functionality of test frameworks. · 1-2 years of experience with test frameworks like *Selenium WebDriver* and JMeter and its underlying functionality. · 1-2 years of experience with Java. · 2-3 years of experience in software verification, including Java web applications and web services (SOAP, REST). · Good knowledge on how to setup and maintain Selenium WebDriver is must. · Working knowledge of Jenkins or similar continuous integration tool. · Ability to debug and solve complex problems. · Working experience on Linux operating system is a plus. · Good working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DB like Oracle and MongoDB. · Good knowledge of shell scripting is a plus. · Experience with Firefox add-ons such as Firebug and XPath Checker *Responsibilities*: · Direct experience performing integration testing of external/internal applications and at a level sufficient for developing test strategies. · Sound experience with test automation using the Selenium WebDriver open-source web application testing system · Experience working as a member of an Agile software development team · Must be able to work both independently and within the Scrum methodology. · Debug software products through the use of systematic automatic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for web applications. · Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and test cases. · Support testing efforts around the integration points between different applications. · Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. · Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. · Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems. · Run Selenium automation on daily basis and troubleshoot the report. · Perform manual testing when required. · Use source control to manage project versions and code changes. · Write new functional selenium tests, maintain existing tests. · Write load tests using JMeter.
