*Top Required Skills*: Point-of-Sale testing experience HPQC Integration and validation testing Retail *Nice-to-have skills*: QTP/UFT Agile *Position Description:* The tester supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy. The tester is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The testers will be primarily performing manual testing but may have an opportunity to participate in automated test development/execution using HP-UFT. *Essential Job Functions:* Work within various test methodologies such as waterfall or iterative Create QA Task List in order to meet objectives and deadlines Participate in Requirement & Design Doc review session; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality test automation standpoint Execute Test scripts to validate correct functionality of application Manage test coverage based on risk analysis Use SQL for back-end database validation Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality Coordinate Test script reviews with stakeholders, as appropriate Perform various types of testing including white box, integration, back-end DB validation, system testing, and end-to-end, as needed Adhere to requirement review, defect writing & test script writing guidelines Coordinate testing efforts between 3rd party testing team.
